Way back in the beginning of the web, we started an online resource called GothicChicago.com (1996)  With the evolution of social media, we became SpookyInc.com (2009) and offer spooky stuff for spooky people 3x a week!

GothicChicago was Chicago’s Online Gothic/Industrial/Alternative resource for 13 years with thousands of loyal visitors, from Chicago and all over the world. If you wanted to know where to go, what to do, where to eat, or to see event photos, or maybe to grab a free wall or pocket calendar, GothicChicago.com was the place to go!

Now is a world of HotTopic, Facebook and Instagram – the need for the wide ranging listings is gone, but people keep asking for some of our favourites – the calendars, JameyB and DavidB’s favorite things, events and Halloween shopping tips, etc etc. This is the reason SpookyInc rose from GothicChicago.com!

SpookyInc is a more intimate, a more personal conversation with you, the visitor. We hope to continue to share our favourite Spooky things with you!
