Have a Spirited Halloween (2025 Postcard)

After 5 years of using a Coffin Shaped postcard for our Halloween Holiday postcard, we decided to turn the clock back and create a vintage “ghost” photos of our own. 

The popularity of the Spiritualism movement in the late 19th century, and the increasing popularity of the new creative medium of  photography, lead to a new trend – ghost photos.

By using the slow exposure times needed for early photography, creating these transparent “guests” became all the rage.  Today, we use Photoshop, but the principal is the same.

We had a spooktacular time getting dressed up in traditional victorian garb for this years Halloween greetings!
