Mitchell Museum’s Artist Spotlight Launch
“This is my second time having the pleasure of working with Jamey and David at YourPlanB and I hope it’s not the last! Their creative genius and expert industry knowledge is matched by their contagious excitement for a project and easy-to-understand, consistent communication. Working with them on this project was such a joy that none of the work felt like actual “work”. I can not recommend them enough!” – Joseph G.
The Mitchell Museum needed a way to highlight upcoming storytelling, music and visual art artists. The first spotlight is on author, Maria DesJarlait. Maria brings her experiences growing up on her reservation and as a teacher to tell engaging and captivating stories that share important messages of empathy. Her writing gives the reader a better understanding of not just Maria’s upbringing but helps to build a bridge for any reader of any age to appreciate Indigenous cultures.
The museum is comfortable using WordPress so we designed a new instance to add to the site. This allows the team an easy way to manage the main site and the artist spotlight separately to grow both areas as needed. Since we began working together, the Music section now includes “The Sweetest Season” with the Goodman Theater. Already growing!
