Drupal 9 Progress Report
Support for Drupal 8 ends in November 2021.
If you haven’t started working on your Drupal 9 upgrade planning, now is the time. Let us know how we can help you. Recently we have updated Drupal 8 clients, to Drupal 9: ecLearningIL.org, StarNetRegionII.org and FacingFreedom.org
“We need to periodically remove deprecated functionality to keep Drupal modern, maintainable, and performant, and we need to stay on secure, supported versions of Drupal 8’s third-party dependencies.”
The first release of Drupal 9 was very similar to the last minor release of Drupal 8 (unlike going from 7 to 8), as the primary goal of the Drupal 9.0.0 release will be to remove deprecated code and update third-party dependencies. By keeping your Drupal 8 sites up to date with our monthly maintenance, you should be well prepared for Drupal 9.
