At Home and On the Go Activities

Learning at Home

Explore the resources and activities created by The Center: Resources for Teaching and Learning that help families support young children learning at home.

Families are the primary caregivers and educators of young children. Learning at Home focuses on resources and activities that support teachers and families working together to help young children learn and develop. The resources for teachers include guidance and recommendations for partnering with families to support learning at home. The activities for families are designed to be done easily during daily routines and with simple materials.

The At Home and On the Go  activities support the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards, which are the standards for learning in preschool. At Home and On the Go activities are organized by learning areas in the Early Learning and Development Standards: Social/Emotional Development, Science, Language Arts, Physical Development & Health and Mathematics.

Drupal 8 gives us the ability to create websites that not only meet the client’s functionality wish list, but offers best practices for the users. Not to mention an easy to use admin area for the ECPL team to keep their content current quickly.

My crew loves working with the ECPL team – great collaborative energy!
Looking forward to the next project together!
