FacingFreedom.org #madewithd8
Have we mentioned how much we love working with the Chicago History Museum team?
Our long standing collaborations (since 1997) showcase the team’s skills with the latest launch of their updated FacingFreedom.org website.
It was time to give the site a quick refresh and security update to allow for responsive design, easier edits and bring it current with Drupal 8.
What is Facing Freedom?
Facingfreedom.org complements the Facing Freedom in America exhibition permanently on display at the Chicago History Museum. Both the website and the exhibition are designed for middle and high school teachers and students. This website can be used before you visit, after you visit, or independent of a visit to the Museum.
The Facing Freedom in America website explores conflicts over freedom through four themes; each theme is supported by two stories, which highlight moments when Americans have struggled over the meaning of freedom.
Visit the website and head over to the museum to see the exhibition.
Drupal 8 gives us the ability to create websites that not only meet the client’s functionality wishlist, but offers best practices for the users. Not to mention an easy to use admin area for the marketing team to keep their content current quickly.
Looking forward to our next project together!
