Favourite Video iOS apps
The other day, we were talking about Adobe Premiere and the possibility of iOS options for editing video instead.
Here are some apps (and tips) from DavidB:
“Of course I’m loyal to Adobe almost as much as I am to Apple – but on the iOS, iMovie and Premiere + Photoshop light are severely lacking in the tools needed for serious work.
Over the last year I’ve come to love a relatively new company called Enlight. Their Photofox app is really powerful for compositing still images. But on the video side, they’ve created an amazing compositing NLE called VideoLeap. I’ve tried many other apps but keep coming back to Enlight. They even have powerful KeyFraming – so easy. Be sure to watch the videos on their site and on YouTube.
For adding motion to a still image, I really like WerbleApp. I’m not sure how broadcast quality that one is though. I’ve edited more than half of our InTheLab videos on VideoFox. Most of my Instagram videos were created using VideoLeap and WerbleApp. They all work on the iPhone but they are amazing with an Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro.”
