KHS Biennial Dinner invitations and NEW! WordPress website

Every 2 years the Kenilworth Historical Society hosts a lavish dinner and party.  Local stores and artists sell their wares in the historic Kenilworth Club (designed by Kenilworth  architect George W. Maher in 1907).

This year will return to it’s historic roots by asking each table to designate a turkey carver to carve and share the food.  We were asked to once again design all the marketing print pieces to announce the event – including envelopes, invites, table cards, and RSVP card and pre-addressed envelopes.  The design for this year is celebrating the exciting new DVD that was created by award winning filmmaker John Newcombe.  John incorporated not only historic documents into his Ken Burns-style photo montage, but also custom music, voice talent and overhead Drone video footage by local resident Brad Savage.

The most exciting thing about this year’s dinner, is that not only were we able to design the print collateral, but also the accompanying WordPress website.  The site is fully responsive to work on any size mobile device – incorporating moving imagery from the DVD as well as some looping video snippets in the background to bring a fluid and dynamic motion to the page.

DavidB could not be more excited than to merge all his passions – historical photography, video production, web development and print design – into one historic event!
