Highly recommend “Scott Kelby’s Shoot Like a Pro: Reloaded! Seminar Tour”
In the beginning days of the internet as we know it (think the early to mid 1990s) there were only a few really good places to go if you couldn’t figure something out something in Adobe Photoshop or about web design. The amazing Lynda Weinman had a few real gems (how to books) at this time. There were a collection of magazines as well as many user groups met in person to discuss Photoshop, photography, Macintosh etc. I remember, early on, going to see a talk by Scott Kelby about hidden tricks for Adobe Photoshop.
Many years later, with the internet now being ubiquitous, and Photoshop itself enjoying t’s 25th anniversary this year, both Lynda and Scott have become masters of online educational community for creatives.
Following Scott with his Photoshop User Magazine (and Conference Technical Chair for the Photoshop World Conference & Expo) I was excited to hear he has added Photography itself to his educational talks and was coming to Chicago to offer his insight.
Scott Kelby’s Shoot Like a Pro: Reloaded! Seminar Tour (KelbyOne LIVE) – How fun to spend an entire day with photographers and creatives talking about f-stops, apertures and how digital photography, Adobe Photoshop, and more recently Adobe Lightroom has changed the world of Photography. Funny thing is that I think I remember some of the people in the room from those Mac Users and Photo enthusiast talks from back then when most people hadn’t heard of the “web”!
If you get a chance, go to see Scott Kelby live.
