What a great chance to have some fun with the branding of this group that meets weekly to play current board games.  Working with a client in California meant working with new technology – Dropbox file sharing, Facebook communication, Skype video meetings, and the newest suite of Adobe products.  The bright colours and shapes we associate with board games, the client’s 50’s style, and the line art of “happy people” were all worked into this fun design.  Graphics were needed for the Meetup page, the Facebook cover and profile images, business cards, and anywhere else they have a presence.

Don’t be fooled though, these are not your father’s board games.

There’s a board gaming Renaissance happening; hundreds of board games are released every year — many with innovative mechanics, clever themes, and fresh ideas.  These games offer the player choice, and don’t require a slavish devotion to rolling a die, moving some spaces, and drawing a card to see what happens. ”
