Invitation for upcoming KHS event
Every 2 years, the Kenilworth Historical Society holds a formal dinner to raise money and bring an enjoyable evening with guest speakers who bring the past alive with their stories. With the knowledgeable Bill Hinchcliff (Historian) speaking about the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition (The Chicago World’s Fair), the imagery had to reflect the pageantry and grandeur of this historic event. The beautiful swirls of the Fair’s original logo, and the huge Ferris wheel were incorporated into the invitations to this biennial dinner – as were sepia tones of photographs at the time, and the green of the KHS logo.
