The web is a growing archive replete with information. In 2002 the website for the Chicago Historical Society’s Remembering 911 exhibit focused on exploring the discussions whirling around both in person and online. The website and exhibit consisted of three sections: descriptions of the exhibits, personal accounts, and listings of programs that accompanied the exhibit.
The website was developed to run on a kiosk at the museum as well as online. It allowed visitors a chance to discuss their personal stories, provide a directory of fellow 9/11 sites, view photos, and provide access to transcripts of speeches made at the time.
