Navy Pier

The MPEA I/S Department has had the pleasure of working with Your Plan B on two projects over the last three months, and in both cases, our team has been extremely happy with both the end results and the overall experience.

As part of the first project, our organization asked Your Plan B to provide a new, livelier, fun design (complete with Flash components) for the Navy Pier web site that would help us to better promote the most popular tourist attraction in Illinois. The variety of designs that Your Plan B provided to us was terrific, and we were able to work together to settle upon a final design with which all of us here are quite proud. In fact, we were so impressed with Your Plan B’s work that we requested their assistance shortly thereafter in providing a completely new design for the MPEA Corporate Intranet. Again, Your Plan B turned around and provided us with several different designs from which to choose, and we were able to successfully blend these designs with our own ideas to come up with a terrific new look and feel!

It has been great working with Jamey, Dave and Cat on these two projects. Their creative ideas, artistic talents and professionalism are excellent, and they are very much open to working within our technical guidelines and with our ideas and concepts. Plus, they were able to deliver both designs to us on time and according to our budgetary limitations. And they are a lot of fun to work with, too! We hope to have other future opportunities to work with Your Plan B!

Navy Pier is one of the crowning jewels of the Chicago lakefront. Located just east of Chicago’s downtown, the Pier has been a second city landmark since it first opened in 1916. Working with a Cold Fusion programmer at the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, Your Plan B Co. gave the pier’s website a brand new look online, complete with animated fireworks and a weekly calendar of events.
