Chicago Historical Society: Wet with Blood

Bringing a book to life. When CHM came to Your Plan B Company to design a website for the “Wet With Blood: The Investigation of Mary Todd Lincoln’s Cloak” web exhibition the atmosphere in the office was very enthusiastic. To be able to bring this book, that attempts to investigate Lincoln’s assassination, to life online – how cool is that?

The design focused around an exhibit that was supposed to feel as if one was flipping through a book. In order to draw more visitors, we consulted on design concepts, created icons specifically for the exhibit, built interactive animations, enhanced functionality, web safe color palettes, and user navigation. CHM also retained Your Plan B Company for ongoing consulting and maintenance on this and many other future projects strengthening the working relationship between this technologically advanced museum and this local website development firm.
